Summary for Sem 2 2009/2010

This semester...again..I'm superb busy, far busy than any other sem before I would say. Hence,I decided to make a summary for it. To keep it as a memory, to have a clear pic of what I have done during this sem. ^^

Right..the 1st thing that is really cool. I think it's happen on 29 January 2010.

The first time I went for interview with a listed company together with my Risk Management's group members. All this gals are really excellent in any fields, especially my leader, Sue Nie, wow...she is really efficient in doing anything. Bravo~~~ Turja, good in English. ;) Yet Ting, good in communication. Yen Huei...good in taking pic. Hahaha~~~~ Me? I'm good in doing slide. XD Though that day we didn't collect many info as expected from the company, actually is from this fella. Don't know why he was like not knowing the company very well, or perhaps...he doesn't feel like wanna share the info with us. =.=""

After all, we still could make it to Gurney Plaza for lil shopping...keke~~

I'm really proud and happy to co-operate with these gals, hope we can have the second chance in the future. =)

Next, I had this EON dinner on 3 March 2010 with all my frens since secondary school in Dewan Mas, it was a wonderful night.

Consequently, it was the SM presentation for Dr.Shan's class, dated 18 March 2010.

Wow...I remembered that day I was superb nervous, cause one group only have 15 mins to present the whole project, which mean one person only allowed to speak 3 mins. On top of that, before the presentation day, he already warned us that a time-keeper will be appointed, 2 more students will appointed as judges together with Dr.Shan to carry out the mark-giving for all the 26 groups. And he really make it on that day.

Ya know...the most horrific feeling is the time when u yet to finish your word, someone already KNOCK KNOCK the table 2 times, indicating TIMES UP!! And if u are so insist to continue, Dr.Shan will straight away stands up and tell ya "OK, stop, next presenter pls...." Argh....that's make me more stressed at that moment, though I already done the time arrangement's preparation for my group. =.=""""

Because we are so "lucky" to become one of the Bank's groups, hence, my group turns out becomes the 4th group to present among all. But that's good too, cause I really feel that the longer time we waste on waiting, the more nervous and tired we are. And if we are in the top front groups, we can present the most "fresh" and energetic side of us to the audience on the floor, agree? ;)

Hehe...anyway, my group passed the time limit safe and sound, further, we answered all the questions given during the Q&A session perfectly. ^^ Hahahaha....so proud of my group. Dr.Shan some more came by to our group after our presentation and told us that we really impressed him, he wanna apologized for looking down on all of us previously, he said: "Okla...I take back my words." That's really make me so touched, really happy that we can change his impression on us. At least we have proved that we are not that kind of "bad quality" students according to him. ^^

Hehe...then here come the BOD's meeting, dated 21 March 2010.

Emm...my comment. Not very good lo I have to say. We play the roles too safe...safe until it was bored actually. Emm...anyway, a good experience though. My lecturer, Dr. Zuani, she is really a good and funny lecturer, very knowledgeable too. I'm so proud and happy to be taught by her. Hehe...That's why u can see that I actually talk a lot with her in the class, try to answer her every questions. Hehe....^^ I just happen to be talkative when I like someone. ^^ Soorry for those classmates who felt that I was annoying o~~~

But we did have a lot of fun during the AGM & EGM. Especially when there is a "Parti Pembangkang" in our class. Hahaha~~~ Good one. XD

Coming next, the Professional Business's Communication class, Executives' Meeting, dated 24 March 2010. ^^

This old man, my lecturer...LOL...a freaking one, who can actually sleep in the class while teaching, even during our presentation day. COOL~~~ XD

We did a lot of rehearsals the day before, thanks for Yen Huei for providing me her script, that's really ease me a lot. And the right-hand side girl -- a China gal, who actually worry me when her first join my group, but after the first time's presentation... I totally change my mind on her as she can speak good and clear English, that's something that most of the China's students in my Uni could never do that. =) I mean..she is good, really good. And next, thanks to Jia Wei too, cause he the only one who actually help me out during the whole course. Really good to have him as group member. And because of his idea of playing some slides during the meeting and Mohammad's joke in a sudden, our group was given a high appraisal from lecturer, Mr.Abdullah. Thx to all of them la~~ ^^

On the same day, I'm having another presentation which is the PKFZ's Scandal.

This one....really tired work. Bcoz of lecturer wants a different style of presentation unlike the usual one. We really go and did a video for it, characterized by ourselves. Hahaha...which include me, Yew Jia, Shiau Teng, YK and Daren. And that completed video, I hope I can get it from Daren someday so that I can upload here to share with u all. ^^

I remembered we just use one whole night to produce the video, took at Experimental Theater there. And we actually practice on the spot before we start our movie...hahaha....no choice, everyone of us are too busy. We finished the whole video on 10 something, went back to hostel already near to 11pm...totally exhausted. T_T

After the presentation, lecturer just said: "So long the presentation." =.= Feeling under appreciated. Haiz...did she know how much effort we put on it ah???

Anyway, I really have a lot more fun on that day we take the video. Hahaha..the kept on "NG-ing" of us. It's really a crazy night...XD...a memorable one for me too. =)

Ok...that's all. I just wanna highlight those that were really meaningful for me to share with. What I want to say is, I really enjoy doing all this with my friends, and I hope they enjoy too~ =)

原來很简单

有一個人去應徵工作，隨手將走廊上的紙屑撿起來，放進了垃圾桶，被路過的口試官看到了，因此他得到了這份工作。

原來獲得賞識很簡單，養成好習慣就可以了。

有個小弟在腳踏車店當學徒，有人送來一部故障的腳踏車，小弟除了將車修好，還把車子整理的漂亮如新，其他學徒笑他多此一舉，後來雇主將腳踏車領回去的第二天，小弟被挖角到那位雇主的公司上班。

原來出人頭地很簡單，吃點虧就可以了。

有個小孩對母親說：「媽媽你今天好漂亮。」母親回答：「為什麼。」小孩說「因為媽媽今天都沒有生氣。」

原來要擁有漂亮很簡單，只要不生氣就可以了。

有個牧場主人，叫他孩子每天在牧場上辛勤的工作，朋友對他說：「你不需要讓孩子如此辛苦，農作物一樣會長得很好的。」牧場主人回答說：「我不是在培養農作物，我是在培養我的孩子。」

原來培養孩子很簡單，讓他吃點苦頭就可以了。

有一個網球教練對學生說：「如果一個網球掉進草堆裏，應該如何找？」
有人答：「從草堆中心線開始找。」有人答：「從草堆的最凹處開始找。」有人答：「從草最長的地方開始找。」教練宣布正確答案：「按部就班的從草地的一頭，搜尋到草地的另一。」

原來尋找成功的方法很簡單，從一數到十不要跳過就可以了。

住在田邊的青蛙對住在路邊的青蛙說：「你這裡太危險，搬來跟我住吧！」路邊的青蛙說：「我已經習慣了，懶得搬了。」幾天後，田邊的青蛙去探望路邊的青蛙，卻發現他已被車子壓死，暴屍在馬路上。

原來掌握命運的方法很簡單，遠離懶惰就可以了。

有一隻小雞破殼而出的時候，剛好有隻烏龜經過，從此以後小雞就背著蛋殼過一生。

原來脫離沉重的負荷很簡單，放棄固執成見就可以了。

有一支掏金隊伍在沙漠中行走，大家都步伐沉重，痛苦不堪，只有一人快樂的走著，別人問：「你為何如此愜意？」他笑著：「因為我帶的東西最少。」

原來快樂很簡單，擁有少一點就可以了。

我不喜歡「兇女人」這名詞，我認為這是機靈、有主見，我想，女人要的男人應該也是這樣吧！

我有一位女性朋友，30多歲雲英未嫁，因為她聰明小潑辣、能力好、反應佳，未嫁的原因是，因為男友的家人覺得她能力比自己的兒子好，所以愛情長跑到最後，新娘變成別人的..........

幾年前，她哥哥娶一個乖女人回家，會聽丈夫的話、乖乖的，但相對的，遇到事情就無法幫到家裡太多。

幾年後，我那女性朋友的娘，也就是那乖嫂嫂的婆婆，感慨的對我朋友說，如果當初你哥娶的女人像你這樣聰明，今天，我們家還有你哥就不會這麼累了...........

男人啊！時代已經不一樣了，聰明的男生，就不要找乖乖女，累死自己喔.........

老公是學理科的，當初喜歡他，是因為他的穩重，依靠在他的肩上有暖暖的踏實，三年的戀愛，兩年的婚姻，而我已倦了。當初的喜歡，現在倦他的根源。

我是個感性的小女人，敏感細膩，渴望浪漫，如孩提時代渴望美麗的糖果。而他，卻天性不善於製造浪漫，木獨到讓我感受不到愛的氣息。

某天，終於鼓起勇氣說：我們分開吧。他問：為什麼？我說：倦了，就不需要理由了。

那個晚上，他只抽煙不說話。我的心越來越涼，連挽留都不會表達的男人，他能給我什麼樣的快樂？他說：怎麼做你才可以改變？

Well..it's been a long time I never cry in front of people who I don't really know well. I have this tendency, this strong self-protection, for not letting people to know the true me, though I'm very straight forward, but to some extent, I'm still keeping my "true color"...the so-called fragile heart. And Dr.Shan is right, deep inside my heart, I really hoping for someone who can understand me, who can read my mind, who knows that I need someone to protect me, to care about me as well. Unlike my usual style, who laugh like crazy, who scold people loudly...

"How do u know, sir?" I'm asking him with shocked. Like, he can tell everything about me, everything that even my BFFs won't have known as well. My curiosity, my nervous, my doubtfulness, my lack of confidence, all just BINGO in a second since the moment I walked into his room. =.= Am I writing on my face? I wonder...

It is a morning when I have to get to campus just to submit a stupid project, and my plan was just to check my carry marks since I got some times. Well...it just an "impromptu" (Dr.Shan teach me that =P) decision and actually I don't really feel like seeing him. =.="" Why? Emm...I don't know, well, actually I can feel that there is something about him to me, a care I would said. It just...ya...like usual, I tend to protect myself, and hence, I make assumption. Haha...guess Soh Wen will gonna ask me again "Why on earth u so long didn't update ur blog???" Yeah, the reason is I'd been so busy for some time since the new sem start.

I got 7 papers in this sem and I'm also taking the all the 3 papers of UBS Accounting System. People said Im crazy..yeah, kinda, but, let just said Im greedy of knowledge. I wish to study the most with the limited time, theory of economy, limited source but unlimited demand.. HAHA~ Today just finish my business law mid-exam..I really want to shout out "GOODBYE PALANIAPA CHETTIER..GOODBYE ARUNALASALAM CHETTIER!! Wish I don't see u anymore.." Gosh...the cases, plaintiff, defendant, really driving me nuts.

Life in Uni is not easy, life as an accounting student is far more difficult. Whatever it is, I hope to be an all-rounded person, but not in the sense of joining clubs or activities, but scoring well in the study at the same time, catch up with the latest drama, updated with the fashion....haha, like I said before, Im greedy, in fact, I am.

And to be such "all-rounded" person like me, u gotta sacrifice one thing, which is your sleeping hours. Im in fact turning my time upside down, sleeping late at 4am, wake up at 6.30am, and it's like a cycle, a bad cycle, an unhealthy cycle, and u will keep on with this lifestyle till one day when u feel that your bone of your body start to pain, and u will thought this might just because u'r not sleeping well at night, but Im telling you now, this is the sign, the sign that u will getting sick...sooner or later. Ahh..all craps. Im starting to talk about craps now. Hehe..this is why Im talkative. Don't know how to be like some other people, blogging all the very sentimental stuff on their blog..man...I'm not philosopher, I'm just a student, a very ordinary in my uni...i think. Hope u think too..hehe~

Raya break is coming and I still haven't decide when should I get home. I don't want to take the bus, not manage to find somebody to give me a drive, don't want to be in this hell place in the lonely friday...How? How? How? Recently, I have found some cool songs from a band, Aqua, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single "Barbie Girl". This is one of the favorite songs/videos where I like the most, perhaps, the most "normal" I found. Haha...nevertheless, their songs are really impressive until after years of their split since 2001, u still can find their songs being popular among people from different age groups.

Solution for blogger XML error messages after upload new templates

1. Download the template you want to upload (usually XML)
2. Get the xml opened in a text file or in any of your editors.
3. “Ctrl + F” (make sure the xml is open and in the active window) and in the search box type “Widget”.
4. In every widget line it will display something like this : widget blablabla “blablabla1”, replace that number for a any other one.
Example, if the widget says 1, erases it and place number 2 instead.
So you will have something like this now: Widget blablabla: “blablabla2”.
5. Do this to all widgets you find in you xml code. That may take a few minutes of your time if you really want THAT template working next time you upload it to your HTML editor in blogger.
6. SAVE it
7. Go to Blogger/edit Layout/HTML
8. Upload your saved xml
9. Save it.
10. Done!
11. Enjoy it.

Tonight is damn cold, I'm wrapping myself with jacket and my feets with socks. My skin is so dry and I'm trying to apply so much baby lotion althought most of the time I tend to forgot. Dai sei one. =.=

我的外婆

这是我外婆，虽然已经不在了，但我还是很想念她。婆婆是个没念过书的人，但你知道吗？我的名字--静枫，却是这个没受过任何教育的外婆所取的，难以相信，我总是觉得我婆婆如果现在还活着，她也是不可能得到老人痴呆症的，一个连煮的汤里面放了多少粒鱼丸都算过，谁吃多了也清清楚楚的人 =.= 怎么可能会患上呢? 她的脑袋分分钟钟都比你跟我还清醒.....

小时候, 婆婆总爱说她以前的"风光" 史给我们听, 每每我都会问她:" 婆, 这又是几年前的事了?" 近者几年前, 离谱的话就是二三十年前......天, 女人的记忆力不容勿视! 多少年来得恩恩怨怨她还记得一清二楚......我只能写个"服"字给她.

要数婆婆的总多的故事中最威的事, 应该就是想当年, 外公在外搞大别人的肚子, 身为村长, 也就是外公的爹, 大义灭亲, 一声喝令就要将当年所谓的"奸夫淫妇" 浸猪笼 (不要以为戏里才会有这一幕哦, 婆婆的那个时代, 村长的话就是法律) , 外婆当年就像戏里常上演的那样, 哭着求村长让那女人嫁进来才保住他俩人的性命......厚, 这根本就是粤剧残片, 活生生的例子嘛.

18th Dec 2007, I received a call early in the morning, my grandpa, the "ex-husband" of my grandma was passed away, it was surprised me for just a second. U may think that I’m not a good granddaughter, but you can’t expect too much from a granddaughter to cry like hell for a grandpa who only met once in her life of 21 years. I was already 19 years old when i first saw him, at that moment, i really don’t know what to say, not greeting him as "grandpa", not even a smile, i was just thinking that: "Man...my mom really look like her dad, just like copy and paste." That's it. My grandma and grandpa were divorced very long time ago since my mom was very young, that's make our family's relationship with grandpa getting far away when my grandma had decided to move from Perak to Penang. What i remembered about my grandpa was that he used to give a gold necklace to my eldest sis and my bro, but not at me and my second sis, with no reason given. I thought maybe my mom never tell him, u know, in the old time, people are shy to tell others that they are having a daughter "again".

I remembered that when i told the news of my grandpa's death to my grandma, her react was quite surprised me further than the news of my grandpa's death, it's because she was so calm, and she just asking me when he did he die actually, meanwhile, she remained silent, the feeling was like it was the death of my neighbors, but not her ex-husband, the one who used to walk into her life.

18th January 2008, my grandma passed away on that day, after one month time from my grandpa's death. It's was a fate, a fate that they are supposed to be together, even thought they were already divorced for 50 years+ (according to my grandma), and somehow i did believe that my grandma is still loving my grandpa, it just, too many things happen in between and they have to separate with each other for "temporary". Yet, i was still crying like hell, for the pass away of my grandma, i really can’t accept the truth, the feeling that you saw your love one dying in front of you. It was an afternoon time, my grandma suddenly lost her consciousness, her fake tooth was loose, and my aunt, yielding at me, asking me to take her tooth right away. I got panic, my hands was shaking when i took away her tooth, and my tears was dropping, i knew something bad was happen, but i was too hard to accept it, deep inside my heart, i was still hoping maybe she is just fainted or what, other than the one i could hardly accept. After about half an hour the rescue of doctors, the lady doctor come out from the curtain, telling my aunt that my grandma heartbeat was stopped, and they already tried their best. My bro and i was shocking, crying beside of grandma, i was yielding at her, asking her to wake up, but everything was just impossible. "Why would you leave us? Mom was just passing for about one year, how can you do that?" from the bottom of my heart, i was asking, with no words.

One thing that i never regret is that, i have successfully bring her for a hair cut and perming and also visiting my aunt, by driving her using my old Tiara, one month before her death. Why would i do that? I think the possibility is that i realized that my grandma was getting old and weaker, her legs was no longer strong than she used to have and she was getting sick easily. U know what? I used to have a dream, a dream to have my own car, driving my grandma go around wherever she want to go, my heart was pain every time i saw her sitting lonely in the living room, without coming to the outside world for years except for the appointment with the general hospital, but this dream can only be reached after I'm graduated. I understand well the feeling of being lonely and I had made my mind that I have to drive her out this time, she can’t wait anymore. And I did it.

I bought her new undergarments, but she never had the chances to wear it, she told me that she want to keep it for chinese new year but she can never make it anymore, never. I was angry of her, angry of her stinginess, why every time must keep for later time, i bought for her because i found that her panties was all old and loose, and if in CNY, they are all broken already, I can buy her new one again. My angry ends with the tears drop from my eyes. "How stupid you are", i wondered, "How can I tell you that I was actually "sayang" you so much?".

"Love your mama, love whatever that you have right now", that's what i always wanted to tell my friends around. It's really a wonderful thing to have family, the one will cook for you every time you come back from school or work. The one that keep nagging you, but still sewing your broken clothes back behind. And when she is asking you, "when will you come home?", meaning that she really miss you at home, and she means it.
